Siemens Limited Completes Sale of Low Voltage Motors and Geared Motors Business to Innomotics India Pvt. Ltd.
Siemens Limited has successfully closed the sale and transfer of its Low Voltage Motors and Geared Motors business to Innomotics India Private Limited. The transaction involves the entire Low Voltage Motors business, which also includes related customer service operations, collectively referred to as the Low Voltage Motors business.The sale was completed on June 1, 2026, and was structured as a going concern on a slump sale basis. Siemens Limited transferred the business to Innomotics India Private Limited for a cash consideration (enterprise value) of INR 22 billion (Indian Rupees Twenty Two Billion).
The deal was executed on a cash free, debt free basis. The transaction is subject to other adjustments mutually agreed upon by the parties, as detailed in the slump sale agreement dated December 8, 2025.
Siemens Limited, a technology leader focused on industry, infrastructure, and mobility, created the Low Voltage Motors business through its operations. The company stated that the closure of the sale confirms the transfer of these assets to Innomotics India Pvt. Ltd.
