Escorts Kubota Reports Strong Volume Growth in Agri and Construction Equipment Markets

Faridabad, June 1, 2026: Escorts Kubota Limited has reported strong sales volumes for its major business divisions for May 2026. The Agri Machinery Business registered significant growth, while the Construction Equipment Business also showed robust performance, reflecting continued demand in both agricultural mechanization and infrastructure sectors.

Agri Machinery Business Performance

In May 2026, the Agri Machinery Business Division of Escorts Kubota Limited sold 12,310 tractors, marking a growth of 18.9% compared to the 10,354 tractors sold in May 2025.

Domestic tractor sales specifically reached 11,887 tractors, demonstrating a 22.5% growth against 9,703 tractors sold in May 2025. The company noted that the growth momentum was supported by favorable farm sentiment, adequate reservoir levels, and sustained rural demand. However, near-term headwinds include rising input costs, particularly fertilizers, softer prices for select cash crops, and evolving geopolitical developments, which may affect customer affordability and input availability before the Kharif season. Overall, rural fundamentals remain resilient.

Export tractor sales in May 2026 stood at 423 tractors, compared to 651 tractors sold in May 2025.
