NTPC Green Energy Limited Declares Project Operational, Increasing Group Capacity to 10,786.56 MW​

NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced that the first part capacity of a solar project has been declared commercial operation, boosting the group's total installed capacity.

The operational status relates to the GSECL RE Park, Khavda Solar PV Project located in Gujarat. This project is being implemented by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. The initial phase declared operational accounts for 64.76 MW out of the total capacity planned for the site.

This operational milestone comes as part of the expansion efforts of the company. Prior to this addition, the current commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group stood at 10,721.80 MW.

Following the declaration of commercial operation on 24.07.2026, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group is now projected to reach 10,786.56 MW.
