J.V.N Subramanyam Appointed as Government Nominee Director on IREDA Board​

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has appointed Shri J.V.N Subramanyam as a Government Nominee Director on its Board. The appointment was made following an order issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) on July 23, 2026.

Shri J.V.N Subramanyam, who is currently the Joint Secretary at MNRE, has been appointed to this role with immediate effect.

The tenure of the directorship is set until one of two conditions is met: either the appointment of three Functional Directors on the Board is completed, or further instructions are issued by the relevant authorities, whichever occurs earlier.

IREDA, which operates as a Government of India Enterprise, will continue to take necessary action regarding this statutory requirement and subsequent disclosures.

Shares of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited slipped today, settling at ₹119.50 after shedding 0.15% in post-market trading. The stock saw significant volume, with a total traded quantity reaching 3.29 million shares during the session.
