Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has signed a license agreement for the development of a new hospitality property, "Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels," located in Panthpiplai, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. This move significantly expands the company's presence within the state, leveraging the commercial strength of Indore and the spiritual significance of Ujjain.

The upcoming hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. The property is strategically situated along the vital Indore-Ujjain Road, positioning it to serve both regional business travelers and pilgrims who seek reliable accommodation near these two key destinations.

This signing elevates Lemon Tree Hotels’ portfolio in Madhya Pradesh to 15 properties, comprising three operational hotels and twelve upcoming projects, reinforcing its commitment to the state's burgeoning commercial and pilgrimage markets. The hotel itself is designed as a full-service midscale establishment and will feature 51 well-appointed rooms, a dedicated restaurant, a banquet hall, a meeting/conference room, a swimming pool, and a fitness center.

Commenting on the strategic acquisition, Mr. Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd., noted that Ujjain presents a compelling market opportunity, given the significant infrastructure investments being made in tourism. He added that Keys Select is well-suited to provide guests with a dependable, comfortable, and contemporary stay while they are in the area.

The new location offers excellent logistical connectivity. It is approximately 41 km from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport (Indore), and the Ujjain Junction Railway Station is located 18.5 km away.
