Lemon Tree Hotels Adds Two Resorts in Maharashtra, Boosting Pipeline and Strengthening Western India Network

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of two new properties in Maharashtra: Lemon Tree Resort, Tadgaon, and Lemon Tree Resort, Igatpuri. These additions bring a total of 200 keys to the company’s pipeline, expanding its footprint in the state. With this development, the company now reports having 32 properties in Maharashtra, comprising 15 operational resorts and 17 properties currently in the pipeline.

Both newly signed properties will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. This strategic move underscores the group's concentrated focus on high-potential micro-markets that are evolving rapidly as preferred destinations for leisure and corporate travel originating from major urban hubs such as Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Pune.

The properties offer varying sizes and facilities, designed to cater to both leisure travelers and corporate events.

Mr. Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd., commented on the signings, stating that the expansion into Tadgaon and Igatpuri is closely aligned with the evolving dynamics of the drive-to hospitality sector. He noted that corporate houses and urban travelers are increasingly seeking accessible, high amenity destinations rather than those requiring complex logistics. By introducing the Lemon Tree Resort brand to these two distinct premium micro-markets, the company aims to capture a lucrative mix of weekend leisure travel, mid to high level corporate retreats, and multi-generational travel opportunities.

The incorporation of these two resorts significantly consolidates Lemon Tree Hotels' presence in Western India, further strengthening its portfolio of premium regional resorts tailored for modern lifestyle and business needs.
