
Juniper Hotels to Invest Rs 850 Crore in New Delhi Luxury Hotel Development
Juniper Hotels Limited has announced plans for a major luxury hotel development in New Delhi, committing an investment of approximately INR 850 crore. The project involves developing a 5-star property that is set to significantly expand the company's presence in the capital city.The Company executed a license deed with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) through its wholly owned subsidiary, Juniper Hospitality Assets Private Limited. This strategic move adds approximately 550 keys to the brand’s portfolio in New Delhi. With this addition, Juniper is anticipated to possess nearly 1,000 keys across its properties in the city.
The new hotel will be strategically located in Sector 23, Dwarka, and will overlook the DDA Dwarka Golf Course, which is noted as India's longest 18-hole golf course. The property is targeted for completion by 2030 and is designed to cater to both premium leisure and business travelers seeking a world-class hospitality experience.
The hotel’s location offers proximity to key infrastructure, including the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, one of Asia's largest convention and exhibition venues. Furthermore, the property is positioned to serve the upcoming Diplomatic Enclave proposed opposite the site, placing it at the core of an emerging business and diplomatic hub in New Delhi.
This development reinforces Juniper Hotels Limited’s commitment to strategic growth within key hospitality markets across India. The company stated that, with the addition of this hotel and the completion of ongoing projects, their total portfolio is expected to include 12 hotels. Management has also outlined a goal to double its key count to approximately 3,900 keys by FY2030-31 through continued inorganic growth opportunities.
