Jonjua Overseas Limited enters MoU for Private Rooftop Helipad near Rampur​

Jonjua Overseas Limited has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mrs. Anjali Sharma, an entrepreneur based in Rampur BSR, Himachal Pradesh. The partnership focuses on the development and facilitation of a Private Rooftop Helipad to be located near the National Highway at Rampur BSR, Himachal Pradesh.

The initiative aims to improve connectivity and accessibility within the remote Himalayan region. The proposed helipad is intended to benefit tourism, emergency services, and economic activities in the area. The development and operation of the private facility are subject to all applicable statutory, regulatory, aviation, safety, environmental, and local authority approvals and clearances.

The project is linked to Mrs. Anjali Sharma's venture, as the helipad will be situated on the rooftop of a 7-story hotel project she is setting up in Rampur BSR.

Jonjua Overseas Limited has established a two-member team for overseeing the development of the Private Rooftop Helipad. The team includes Major Harjinder Singh Jonjua, Retd., who serves as the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the company. He brings military engineering expertise and possesses 48 years of experience in the design and development of Helipads and STOLports in remote and border regions.

The project team also features Mr. Harmanpreet Singh Jonjua, a Director. Major Harjinder Singh Jonjua is noted as the author of aviation and military engineering books concerning needs in border and remote areas and has filed a Patent for a STOLport along with Mr. Harmanpreet Singh Jonjua (CS, LLM), which features a design length of 750 meters.
