As of 10:10 am on August 6, data from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) confirmed that the issue had been subscribed over four times. The IPO, which is scheduled to close on August 7, continues to attract significant capital interest across various investor categories.

The company initially set its price band for equity shares at Rs 50 to Rs 53. The IPO raised a total of Rs 425.90 crore and is composed of both a fresh issue worth Rs 320 crore and an Offer For Sale (OFS) component worth Rs 105.90 crore by existing promoters. Investor interest remains high, with the non-institutional investor (NII) portion subscribed at an impressive 8.00 times. The retail category also showed strong support, booking a subscription rate of 4.14 times.

The grey market tracking indicators point towards a strong listing potential for Ardee Industries. As reported by InvestorGain and IPO Watch, the grey market premium (GMP) stood at Rs 15.25 on August 6. Based on the upper limit of the price band at Rs 53 per share, the GMP suggests an estimated listing gain approximating 28.77 percent. Investors are advised that while these premiums indicate speculative interest, they are unofficial and should not be taken as a guarantee of performance or company fundamentals.

##Anchor Investor Allocation Before Launch

Ahead of the official IPO subscription, Ardee Industries successfully raised funds from anchor investors in a regulatory filing dated August 4. The company allotted 2.41 crore equity shares to these anchor institutions at Rs 53 per share, mobilising approximately Rs 127.73 crore. Significant institutional backing includes Bank of India Small Cap Fund and Bengal Finance & Investment, both receiving 47.17 lakh shares valued at Rs 25 crore apiece.

##Institutional Backing Confirmed by Anchor Investors

Several specialized funds were among the anchor participants in the listing pre-period. The Wealth Company Alternates Trust's Bharat Value Fund and India Max Investment Fund each received 37.73 lakh shares, amounting to Rs 20 crore per allocation. Cognizant Capital Dynamic Opportunities Fund and IMAP India Capital Investment Trust's Catalyst New India Fund were also allotted stock, with each receiving 12.03 lakh shares for a value of Rs 6.37 crore.

##Ardee Industries Business Profile and Fund Utilization Plan

Ardee Industries operates in the crucial sector of recovery and recycling, focusing on end-of-life energy storage products and non-ferrous scrap materials. The company utilizes its specialized manufacturing processes to produce pure lead and lead alloys, serving multiple industries such as automotive, e-mobility, chemicals, and energy storage solutions.

The proceeds from the IPO are planned for strategic deployment. Ardee Industries intends to utilize Rs 220 crore of the fresh issue funds towards incremental working capital requirements. Furthermore, an allocation of Rs 20 crore is designated for the repayment of certain borrowings, with the balance earmarked for general corporate purposes.
