The robust IPO structure comprises two main components: a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹320 crore, and an offer-for-sale (OFS) amounting to 1.99 crore shares valued at ₹105.9 crore, which comes from the company's promoters.Regulatory filings confirmed that Ardee Industries finalized the allocation of 2.41 crore equity shares specifically for anchor investors at the upper end of the predetermined price band. This anchoring confirms high-level institutional interest in the company’s growth trajectory.
Key Institutional Participation in Anchor Book
Significant financial houses demonstrated keen interest during the anchor booking process. Bank of India Small Cap Fund, Bengal Finance & Investment (backed by Ashish Kacholia), and Winro Commercial (of the Ashwin Kumar Kothari Group) were identified as the largest investors in this round. Each of these three entities picked up 47.17 lakh shares, amounting to a value of ₹25 crore.The anchor investments also included substantial purchases from wealth funds. Bharat Value Fund and India Max Investment Fund, both managed by The Wealth Company Alternates Trust, purchased 37.73 lakh shares each, totaling ₹20 crore per fund. Further allocations were made to Cognizant Capital Dynamic Opportunities Fund and Catalyst New India Fund of IMAP India Capital Investment Trust, with the latter purchasing 12.03 lakh shares worth ₹6.37 crore.
Strategic Use of Net Proceeds for Corporate Growth
Ardee Industries has outlined a clear strategic deployment plan for the net proceeds generated from the fresh issue. A significant portion of the funds, amounting to ₹220 crore, is specifically intended to meet incremental working capital requirements of the company.Furthermore, the company plans to allocate ₹20 crore towards repaying specific outstanding debt obligations. The remaining amount from the IPO will be earmarked for general corporate purposes as determined by the management.
