
BofA Securities Picks Up Nearly 1 Percent in RBL Bank
US-based BofA Securities, through its European arm, acquired nearly a 1 percent stake in RBL Bank in an open market transaction on Wednesday.Block deal data shows that BofA Securities Europe SA purchased 60 lakh shares, translating to a 0.97 percent holding, at an average price of Rs 296 per share. The transaction value stood at Rs 177.60 crore.
On the other side of the trade, BNP Paribas Financial Markets offloaded an identical number of shares at the same price.
RBL Bank shares ended Wednesday’s session higher, closing at Rs 297.55 on the BSE, up 1.31 percent.
Goldman Sachs, Societe Generale Buy Adani Green Shares
In a separate block deal on the BSE, global investment banks Goldman Sachs and Societe Generale collectively purchased 15.49 lakh shares of Adani Green Energy for a combined value of about Rs 136 crore.Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE bought 10 lakh shares, while Societe Generale acquired 5.49 lakh shares. The transactions were executed in the price band of Rs 879.5 to Rs 883.3 per share, taking the total deal value to Rs 136.61 crore.
BNP Paribas Financial Markets exited the same number of shares at identical prices.
Adani Green shares closed marginally lower on Wednesday, slipping 0.42 percent to Rs 879.60 on the BSE.
MIT Divests 2.6 Percent Stake in Restaurant Brands Asia
On the NSE, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and its affiliate 238 Plan Associates LLC divested a combined 2.6 percent stake in Restaurant Brands Asia through open market transactions.Bulk deal data indicates that a total of 1,51,34,980 equity shares were sold. MIT disposed of a little over 1.17 crore shares, while 238 Plan Associates LLC sold 33.88 lakh shares. The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 63.31 each, taking the total deal size to Rs 95.82 crore.
Restaurant Brands Asia shares ended the previous session higher, rising 1.46 percent to close at Rs 64.61 on the NSE.
