Biocon Limited has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company's Board of Directors approved both the standalone and consolidated results, which were limitedly reviewed by statutory auditors.

The consolidated figures showed a total income of 43,905 million in the quarter, with revenue derived from operations standing at 43,360 million. Net profit for the period stood at 1,368 million, while the total comprehensive income was reported at 9,256 million.

The standalone entity reported a revenue from operations of 6,245 million. Total income reached 6,893 million, before accounting for total expenses of 6,194 million. The company recorded a Net Profit/loss for the period of 522 million.

Operational and Strategic Updates​

The company announced several significant operational developments during the reporting period. The Board also recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.50 per equity share of Rs. 5/- on May 07, 2026, which is subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting.

In other related corporate actions, Syngene International Limited's Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.25 per equity share of Rs. 10/-, pending shareholder approval in its Annual General Meeting. Furthermore, it was disclosed that Biocon International approved the voluntary liquidation of its wholly owned subsidiary, Syngene Manufacturing Limited, following shareholder approval on June 15, 2026.

Acquisition and Financial Highlights​

The financial results encompass several major transactions undertaken by the company and the Group during the year ended March 31, 2026. These include the acquisition of 115,36,956 equity shares of BBL from a selling shareholder via a share swap transaction in Q2 2026. This process led to the allotment of 87,86,362 equity shares of Rs. 5 each, fully paid-up, at an issue price of Rs. 376.41 per share on June 29, 2026, making BBL a wholly owned subsidiary effective from that date.
