Ardee Industries IPO Surges at 138 Times Subscription; Climbs to Top 5 Most Sought-After Debut in CY26

The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Ardee Industries, a notable player in the lead recycling sector, concluded with significant investor interest. The issue was subscribed 138.83 times, solidifying its position as one of the top performers in this calendar year. The debut has become the fourth-highest issue in terms of the sheer number of applications received to date.

Ardee Industries’ IPO attracted a substantial market response, receiving a total of 41.18 lakh applications. This volume ranks it among the leading issues of 2026. While the subscription level is highly favorable, other major offerings have been exceptionally large in scale, underscoring the varied appetite across different sectors.

IPO Structure and Market Positioning

The Ardee Industries IPO was launched with an issue size totaling Rs 425.87 crore. The offer structure comprised a fresh issue of shares amounting to Rs 320 crore. Additionally, existing promoters participated in an Offer For Sale (OFS) component valued at Rs 105.9 crore.

The company introduced the equity shares within a well-defined price band ranging between Rs 50 and Rs 53 per share. This structure allowed the offering to capture considerable interest from retail and institutional investors alike, despite being smaller compared to some other highly capitalized IPOs.

High Interest Seen in Anchor Investor Allocation

Prior to the public issue opening, Ardee Industries secured investment commitments from anchor investors. A regulatory filing confirmed that 2.41 crore equity shares were allotted to these anchor investors at the upper price band of Rs 53 per share. This early support highlights confidence in the company's fundamental stability and market prospects.

Major participants among the anchor segment included Bank of India Small Cap Fund, Bengal Finance & Investment (backed by Ashish Kacholia), and Winro Commercial from the Ashwin Kumar Kothari Group. Each of these key institutional players secured 47.17 lakh shares, amounting to Rs 25 crore each.

Utilisation Plan for Net Proceeds

The proceeds generated through this IPO have a clear planned application strategy aimed at strengthening operational capacity and managing financial obligations. The company intends to allocate Rs 220 crore from the net proceeds of the fresh issue exclusively towards expanding its incremental working capital requirements.

Furthermore, Ardee Industries plans to utilize Rs 20 crore for the repayment of certain existing borrowings. The remaining funds generated during the offering will be deployed for various general corporate purposes, ensuring a complete deployment plan across all immediate needs.
