Bandhan Bank reported a significant 35% year-on-year rise in its net profit, reaching Rs 502 crore for the first quarter of FY 2026-27. This performance contrasts with Adani Total Gas, which posted a 14% YoY decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 142 crore, compared to Rs 165 crore in the corresponding period last year.

PNB Managing Director and CEO Ashok Chandra confirmed that the bank intends to enter into acquisition finance within the third quarter of the current financial year, capitalizing on the window recently opened by the RBI for lenders.

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), the hospitality arm of Tata Group, reported robust growth in its first-quarter results ending June 2026. The company's consolidated net profit rose by 18.67% to Rs 390.81 crore, up from a net profit of Rs 329 crore during the year-ago period. IHCL’s revenue from operations also increased to Rs 2,339 crore in June quarter FY27, compared to Rs 2,041 crore prior.

Meanwhile, Adani Energy Solutions achieved impressive growth, reporting a 124% YoY increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1149 crore for the first quarter. This was supported by revenue from operations rising 42% YoY to Rs 9711 crore, up from Rs 512 crore in the previous year's quarter.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced a substantial price hike across various models, effective August 2026. The move was communicated by the company, citing sustained increases in input costs as the rationale for the increase of up to Rs 30,000.
