Bank stocks saw strong performances with Bandhan Bank reporting a significant Q1 surge, posting a 35% profit increase to ₹501.7 crore from ₹372 crore. The bank's Net interest income rose by 5.9%, reaching ₹2,920.6 crore versus ₹2,757.2 crore. In the corporate sector, Mastek reported a 15% jump in Q1 profit, reaching ₹105.9 crore (up from ₹92.1 crore). Sagility experienced explosive growth, with profits zooming 46% to ₹216.8 crore and revenue soaring 27.6%, hitting ₹1,963.5 crore versus ₹1,538.9 crore.

Gabriel India’s Q1 saw a profit increase of 2% to ₹107.4 crore, supported by revenue jumping 15.5% to ₹1,425.7 crore. The company is strategically expanding its reach, planning to acquire a 30% stake in HL Klemove India for $98.44 million from the Korean firm, HL Klemove Corporation.

Aurobindo Pharma announced a major regulatory milestone regarding its subsidiary, CuraTeQ Biologics. The facility received approval from ANVISA (Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária), Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency. This approval followed a successful Good Manufacturing Practice GMP inspection conducted by ANVISA between May 11 and May 15, 2026, covering biological APIs and sterile products.

Trident reported steady growth in Q1, with profit growing 13% to ₹158.1 crore, while revenue saw a modest rise of 4.7% to ₹1,786.8 crore from ₹1,706.9 crore. Meanwhile, MedPlus Health Services saw its revenue soar by 21.8%, reaching ₹1,879.6 crore from ₹1,542.6 crore, though profit declined 21.7% to ₹33.2 crore.

In a notable development concerning the automotive sector, Maruti Suzuki India announced plans to increase prices across its portfolio by up to Rs 30,000 due to continuous increases in input costs. This price hike is scheduled to become effective in August 2026.

Anant Raj has also unveiled significant corporate restructuring plans following a Composite Scheme of Arrangement approval by its Board. The proposed scheme, pending National Company Law Tribunal NCLT approval, aims to separate the Group's rapidly growing data centre and cloud services business from its core real estate and infrastructure operations, creating two focused listed companies.

Aditya Birla Capital reported making an investment of ₹123.89 crore on a rights basis into Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company. Following this capital infusion, the company’s percentage shareholding will remain unchanged, and the insurance entity will continue to be classified as an associate.
