<h1>Womancart Limited Warrants Lapse As Promoter Group Fails to Exercise Rights</h1>
Womancart Limited has confirmed the lapse of equity share warrants previously allotted to Madhu Sudan HUF, a member of the Promoter Group. The warrants were not exercised within the stipulated period and have consequently expired.
The Company had allotted 1,28,400 equity share warrants to Madhu Sudan HUF on a preferential basis on February 21, 2025. At the time of the allotment, the warrant holder had paid 25% of the issue price for the warrants.
The warrants were required to be exercised within 18 months from the date of allotment. As the warrant holder did not exercise the 1,28,400 warrants within the prescribed period, they have lapsed upon the expiry of the stipulated exercise period.
The lapse of the unexercised warrants means that there will be no allotment of equity shares against them. Consequently, the upfront consideration paid in respect of the warrants has been forfeited.
Womancart Limited stated that due to the lapse of the warrants, there will be no change in the paid-up share capital of the Company or the shareholding of the Promoter Group. The Company has taken note of the lapse and forfeiture of the upfront consideration related to the warrants.
