Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) announced the appointment of Smt. Srividya Venkataraman as Key Managerial Personnel and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective July 07, 2026. She assumes this role after Shri K Vinod, Executive Director - Corporate Finance & Additional Charge of Treasury.

Smt. Srividya Venkataraman has been appointed to lead the finance function at HPCL. The Board made the appointment during a meeting held on July 07, 2026. She is noted as being not related to any of the company’s Directors.

Experienced Finance Professional Joins HPCL​

Ms Srividya Venkataraman brings over three decades of experience in the Indian energy sector, where she is a Chartered Accountant and Cost & Works Accountant. Her expertise spans treasury management, taxation, risk management, investor relations, capital markets, and business finance.

Prior to joining HPCL as Director - Finance, Ms Srividya served as Executive Director - Corporate Treasury at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). In this capacity, she was responsible for Treasury, Insurance, Investor Relations, Pension Fund Investments, Pricing, and Taxation. Under her leadership at BPCL, the corporation successfully mobilized project finance exceeding ₹30,000 crore for strategic growth initiatives while strengthening its financial position through capital management measures.

Her career includes several key leadership roles across BPCL’s Treasury, Retail, and LPG businesses. As Finance Head of the Retail Business, she focused on business growth, network expansion, digital transformation, cost optimization, and governance enhancement. During her time in the LPG business, she was instrumental in implementing flagship government initiatives, including the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), facilitating subsidy transfers and expanding clean cooking fuel access.

Ms Srividya has also been involved in landmark financial initiatives at BPCL, such as maiden international bond issuance, large-scale external commercial borrowings, strategic investment planning, insurance optimization, and strengthening investor engagement. She also led the implementation of digital finance solutions that improved operational efficiency and governance. Additionally, she holds board positions with Kannur International Airport Limited, BPCL KIAL Fuel Farm Facilities Pvt. Limited, and FFPL Finserv Private Limited.
