Hindustan Petroleum Appoints New Chief Financial Officer, Restructures Directorate​

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd has announced changes in its Directorate and the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 1, 2026.

The company reported the superannuation of Shri Rajneesh Narang, who held the position of Director - Finance and CFO, effective May 31, 2026.

In the interim, the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas had previously conveyed that the Competent Authority approved the entrustment of additional charge of the Director-Finance post to Shri K S Shetty, Director Human Resources. Consequently, Shri K S Shetty assumed the additional charge of Director - Finance effective June 1, 2026, for a period of three months or until a regular incumbent is appointed.

The company has announced the appointment of Shri K Vinod as the new CFO. Shri K Vinod, currently the Executive Director - Corporate Finance & Additional Charge of Treasury, assumes this role with effect from June 1, 2026.

Shri K Vinod, who is a Chartered Accountant, brings over three decades of experience to the role. His tenure in the company involved handling various critical finance areas, including Refinery Finance, Corporate Strategy & Planning, International Trade, Oil Price Risk Management, Integrated Margin Management, SBU Commercial, Corporate Finance, Treasury, and Pricing. Notably, Shri K Vinod previously served as the CFO of the company from September 11, 2024, to March 26, 2025.
