SJVN Reports Record Energy Generation in FY 2025-26​

SJVN Limited announced record energy generation figures for the fiscal year 2025-26, with its operational power stations generating a total of 13,302 million units. The announcement was made by Sh. Bhupender Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of SJVN.

The 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station achieved its second-highest annual energy generation, producing 7,506.617 million units and surpassing 150 billion units of cumulative power generation in March 2026. The 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station reached a record 2,108.034 million units, the first time exceeding 2,100 million units in its eleven-year operational history. The 60 MW Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Station generated 310.37 million units, 17% higher than its design energy of 265.5 million units. Additionally, the 1000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Station generated one billion units of energy on March 19, 2026.

Sh. Bhupender Gupta commended employees and acknowledged the support of the Government of India, Ministry of Power, State Governments, and stakeholders. SJVN, a Navratna CPSE, aims to contribute significantly to India's goal of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.

Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), highlighted the dedication of employees and the projects’ contribution to socioeconomic development. Sh. Parthajit De, Director (Finance), celebrated the achievements as a reflection of the organization's strong operational capabilities and contribution to the nation’s energy landscape.
