The company’s IPO materials were filed via a confidential route, followed by clearance from SEBI in November 2025.
Significant Reduction in Issue Size
The reduction reflects a shift from an earlier plan. Initially, the total issue size was projected at Rs 2,342.3 crore. This planned structure included a fresh issuance of Rs 1,100 crore and an OFS component of Rs 1,242.3 crore.The updated prospectus clearly outlines the current offering composition, which is now set at Rs 1,617.5 crore. The company’s decision to adjust the size ahead of launch signals market feedback during the revision process.
IPO Timeline and Merchant Banking Appointments
The date for the public subscription has been set for August 12. The financial institutions managing the offering have confirmed their roles as merchant bankers for Shiprocket.The price band for this highly anticipated debut will be announced separately on August 6. Key merchant bankers appointed to manage the complexity of the IPO include Axis Capital, BofA Securities India, JM Financial, and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company.
