Remsons Industries Reports Strong Q1FY27 Results Amid Order Book Activation and Leadership Change

Remsons Industries Limited, an automotive OEM components manufacturer serving global markets, announced its un-audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported robust performance in Q1FY27, driven by significant order wins and a strategic focus on product premiumization.

The Board of Directors of Remsons Industries confirmed these financial results, showing continued momentum across the core business segments as the company moves toward its long-term growth aspirations.

Business Growth and Strategic Wins

The financial results were bolstered by multiple strategic successes, including new large-scale order activations across global OEMs. Remsons secured a landmark ₹3,000 million, 7-year contract from Stellantis N.V. for the supply of control cables, with deliveries slated to commence in FY27.

Other key business developments include:

  • Global Program: The Group’s UK subsidiary, Remsons Automotive Ltd., was nominated by a global commercial vehicle OEM for a 10-year pedal box programme, which carries an estimated lifetime value of approximately ₹1,600 million and is scheduled to begin production in Q4 CY2028.
  • Order Awards: BEE Lighting Ltd. secured a significant ₹120 million order from a Global Multinational OEM for exterior vehicle lighting design and development. Furthermore, the company won a business award from an Indian Commercial Vehicle OEM for Gear Shifter with Push Pull Cables, valued at ₹600 million over five years.
  • Order Expansion: Remsons also secured a new order from a leading global commercial vehicle OEM for Hood Rods, opening avenues for future business across multiple international OEMs.

Leadership Transition and Strategic Roadmap

Remsons Industries announced a leadership transition to support its next phase of growth. Mr. Rahul Prabhakar Desai has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 3, 2026, succeeding Amit Srivastava, whose resignation will be effective from September 4, 2026.

The company remains committed to achieving its strategic objective of ₹9,000 million to ₹10,000 million revenue by FY30, implying a CAGR of approximately 24 to 29% from the FY26 base of ₹4,687 million. The strategic roadmap includes:

  • Capex Investment: A targeted capital expenditure of ₹1,000 million over three years for plant upgrades in India and the UK, focusing on EV-compatible parts, sensors, and tyre mobility kits.
  • Diversification: Geographic diversification across manufacturing sites in India, the UK, and Brazil (via licensing) aims to reduce single region risk and provide natural currency hedges.
  • Market Reach: Customer exposure is being diversified across major clients including Stellantis, Tata Motors, Hero, Maruti, and various UK luxury/supercar OEMs via BEE Lighting.

Management commentary highlighted that the strong performance was driven by three core engines: new order book activation, a product-mix premiumization trend (shifting into sensors, lighting, and locomotives), and an export tailwind resulting from the China+1 sourcing rotation among global clients.

The company plans to bolster manufacturing capacity by identifying an additional 20,000 sq. ft. of property in the National Capital Region. While input cost inflation, such as observed moves in hot-rolled steel (+11%), aluminium (+27%), and copper (+28%), presents challenges, management noted that international programmes often include raw material pass through clauses, mitigating the impact on P&L over a lagged period.

REMSONSIND Stock Price Movement

Today, Remsons Industries Limited shares edged higher to close at ₹88.25, gaining 0.12% in after-hours trading. The stock saw a volume of 93,316 shares traded during the day's session.
