Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, SBI Lead as Top-10 Firms Add ₹1.23 Lakh Crore in Market Value

Reliance Industries Tops Weekly Market Capitalisation Gains​

The combined market capitalisation of seven of the ten most valued companies rose by ₹1,23,724.19 crore last week, reflecting a positive momentum in domestic equity markets. The broader sentiment remained supportive, with benchmark indices ending the week higher.

During the period, the BSE benchmark advanced by 720.56 points, registering a gain of 0.84 percent.

Reliance Industries, Banks, and FMCG Stocks Drive Gains​

From the top ten companies, Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Larsen & Toubro, and Hindustan Unilever recorded an increase in their market valuations.

Reliance Industries emerged as the biggest gainer, with its market capitalisation rising by ₹45,266.12 crore to ₹21,54,978.60 crore.

State Bank of India added ₹30,414.89 crore, taking its valuation to ₹9,22,461.77 crore.

Larsen & Toubro saw its market value climb by ₹16,204.34 crore to ₹5,72,640.56 crore, while Hindustan Unilever’s valuation increased by ₹14,626.21 crore to ₹5,51,637.04 crore.

HDFC Bank’s market capitalisation rose by ₹13,538.43 crore to ₹15,40,303.87 crore. ICICI Bank added ₹3,103.99 crore to reach ₹9,68,773.14 crore, and Bharti Airtel’s valuation edged up by ₹570.21 crore to ₹12,01,262.53 crore.

TCS, Infosys, Bajaj Finance See Valuation Decline​

On the downside, Tata Consultancy Services witnessed a decline in market value of ₹10,745.72 crore, taking its valuation to ₹11,75,914.62 crore.

The market capitalisation of Infosys fell by ₹6,183.25 crore to ₹6,81,635.59 crore, while Bajaj Finance declined by ₹5,693.58 crore to ₹6,16,430.43 crore.

Reliance Industries Retains Top Spot​

Despite mixed performance across sectors, Reliance Industries continued to hold its position as India’s most valued company. It was followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, TCS, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro, and Hindustan Unilever.

The weekly gains underscore sustained strength in select heavyweight stocks amid a supportive equity market environment.
