Company Performance and Earnings Context

Furthermore, it was down more than 42% from its all-time high achieved in September 2025.The company’s recent earnings report detailed challenges that affected user growth. Expert View on New Index Additions
Stephens analyst Melissa Roberts provided commentary on the historical trends surrounding new index additions. She noted that companies added to the S&P 500 have typically outperformed the benchmark from the initial announcement period through to their formal inclusion date. The biggest gains are often seen in the day immediately following the announcement. However, Ms. Roberts cautioned that while these stocks exhibit strong immediate performance, they usually see some degree of gain reversal afterwards. Over the subsequent three months, they generally lag the benchmark by approximately 2%.
