Orient Ceratech Completes Agreement for Sale of Windmills Business; Consideration Revised
Orient Ceratech Limited has finalized the Agreement for the sale of its Windmills Business, comprising seven windmills within its Power Division. The transaction, which involves a slump sale on a going concern basis, was executed on June 30, 2026.The company confirmed that under the terms of the agreement, all assets and liabilities pertaining to the Windmills Business will be transferred to the purchaser, effective from the cut-off date, June 30, 2026.
Following subsequent negotiations between Orient Ceratech Limited and the purchaser, both parties mutually agreed to revise the sale consideration. The total consideration for the acquisition of the Windmills Business has been raised upwards to Rs. 16.45 Crore.
