Bengaluru, Tuesday, December 30, 2025: Ola Electric Mobility Limited announced a key milestone in its electric mobility roadmap, with its flagship electric motorcycle, the Roadster X+, receiving formal certification for road use in India. The approval clears the way for the company to begin customer deliveries of the model in the domestic market.
The Roadster X+ is the first electric motorcycle in India to be powered by an entirely in-house developed 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack, underscoring Ola Electric’s push towards full vertical integration across cell design, battery manufacturing, and vehicle platforms.

The Roadster X+ comes equipped with a 9.1 kWh battery pack and offers a claimed range of up to 500 km on a single charge, positioning it among the longest-range electric motorcycles in the country. Strengthening Vertical Integration Strategy
With the certification of the Roadster X+, Ola Electric has expanded the deployment of its 4680 Bharat Cell platform across both its electric scooter and motorcycle portfolios.
