NLC India Limited's Wholly Owned Subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), has secured a significant contract for setting up solar power projects in Uttar Pradesh. The company received a Letter of Award from Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited, which is a Joint Venture of NHPC Limited and UPNEDA.

The project involves establishing Solar Power Projects totaling 2x300 MW at the Jalaun Solar Power Park. This undertaking is part of a larger 1200MW park located in District Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh.

NIRL secured the contract through Tariff based Competitive Bidding process. The award marks a key development for renewable energy projects within the region and affirms NIRL's role in large-scale solar deployment.

NLCINDIA Stock Price Movement​

NLC India Limited shares today slipped by 1.32% to settle at ₹317.10, declining by ₹4.25 from yesterday's close. The stock traded with notable volume during the session, amid a day that saw it touch a low of ₹316.
