NHPC Limited has announced that two units of its Teesta-V Power Station in Sikkim have resumed commercial operation following synchronization with the grid.

Unit #1 and Unit #2, both rated at 170 MW each, successfully resumed commercial generation on July 13, 2026, at 17:00 Hrs. The resumption of operations marks a step toward maximizing power output from the Teesta-V Power Station, which comprises three units, each rated at 170 MW.

The company stated that the status of the commercial generation for the final unit, Unit #3, will be communicated in due course.

NHPC Stock Price Movement​

NHPC Limited shares slipped on Monday by 0.28% to settle at ₹79.46 per share. The stock traded throughout the session, registering a total volume of 15.94 million shares.
