Two Units of Teesta-V Power Station Resume Commercial Generation​

Two units of Teesta-V Power Station in Sikkim have resumed commercial operations following synchronization with the grid. The facility, which includes three 170 MW units, saw Unit #1 and Unit #2 start commercial generation on July 13, 2026, at 17:00 Hrs.

The resumption of these two specific units marks a significant operational update for the Teesta-V Power Station project.

Management confirmed that while Unit #1 and Unit #2 have successfully commenced commercial generation, the commercial status of the final unit, Unit #3, is yet to be determined and will be announced in due course.
