
Mphasis and ISB Collaborate to Establish 'AI Hub' for AI-Led Research in India
Mphasis, a global AI-led, platform-driven technology solutions provider, and the Indian School of Business (ISB) have launched the 'Mphasis AI Hub'. This cross-functional collaboration is aimed at accelerating AI-led research, innovation, and capacity building for both societal and sectoral impact within India.The initiative is significantly supported by the Mphasis F1 Foundation, which will invest approximately INR 20 crore over four years in Phase 1 to advance research and applied AI solutions through the new hub.
The dedicated AI research hub at ISB will serve as a platform for interdisciplinary research and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The partnership's initial focus areas are Healthcare and Finance, with subsequent plans to expand into other priority sectors.
The core objective of the partnership is to advance responsible AI innovation in the financial and healthcare sectors. This involves driving research that addresses real-world challenges, enabling the responsible adoption, evaluation, and impact assessment of AI solutions in live environments. Furthermore, the hub aims to strengthen digital literacy and institutional capacity among relevant stakeholders and foster wider knowledge-sharing.
The Mphasis AI Hub will also focus on building frameworks necessary to assess the tangible business value and long-term sustainability of AI deployments, generate policy insights, and create comprehensive AI learning resources.
