The stock debuted with a significant premium of 90 percent over the issue price of Rs 331.The listing performance followed a robust IPO bidding period that ran from July 14 to July 16. The initial offering generated immense market interest. The Rs 160.34-crore issue received overwhelming bids for 67,96,30,000 shares against the offered 35,18,800 shares. The total subscription stood at a massive 193.14 times.Retail investors proved to be key drivers of this phenomenal demand. Their reserved portion of the IPO was subscribed at 216.46 times. Similarly, the non-institutional investor category demonstrated powerful interest, with its quota booked at 194.05 times.

Prior to the listing, market sentiment surrounding Millworks Technologies was extremely positive. Analysts and market trackers had gauged the grey market premium (GMP) around Rs 395 per share. This suggested a potential listing gain approaching nearly 120 percent over the issue price.While high expectations were present, actual gains from SME IPOs are capped at 90 percent. The company successfully leveraged this massive demand to ensure a strong and sustainable market entry.

The IPO comprised a fresh equity issue of 48.44 lakh shares, with no offer for sale component included in the offering. Nine anchor entities contributed nearly Rs 44 crore to the company during the anchoring bidding process.Millworks Technologies is a precision engineering firm specializing in high-accuracy machined components and integrated assemblies. It serves mission-critical sectors including defence, aerospace, railways, metro rail, drone technology, and semiconductor industries.
The net proceeds from the fresh issue will be strategically utilized for expansion and operational growth. Of the funds raised, Rs 61.03 crore is allocated for the purchase of plant and machinery. A significant amount, Rs 81.50 crore, has been earmarked for working capital requirements.

The company operates using Build-to-Print and Build-to-Spec engagement models, supplying components to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). This model underscores its specialized position within high-tech manufacturing ecosystems.In terms of revenue generation, the domestic market contributes 73 percent of Millworks Technologies’ total revenue for FY26. The remaining 27 percent of earnings are derived from exports, highlighting a diversified market footprint.
