New Delhi: Lemon Tree Hotels Limited (LTHL) has announced the signing of a license agreement for Lemon Tree Premier in Visakhapatnam. The new hotel property is set to introduce an upscale offering to the city and will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of LTHL.

The development significantly expands the group's footprint within Andhra Pradesh, which currently boasts six operational hotels and seven upcoming properties under its portfolio. This launch complements LTHL’s existing presence in Visakhapatnam, where the company operates Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels in Daba Gardens and Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels in Gajuwaka.

Lemon Tree Premier, Visakhapatnam, is designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers. The property will feature 110 well-appointed rooms alongside essential facilities including a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting/conference room, fitness center, swimming pool, and a spa.

Commenting on the strategic signing, Mr. Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd., stated that Visakhapatnam is a key economic centre and a thriving tourism destination in Andhra Pradesh. He added that adding the upscale offering through Lemon Tree Premier allows LTHL to capture a broader spectrum of demand while deepening its presence in the high-growth market.

The location offers strategic advantages for travellers, benefiting from close connectivity to transportation hubs. Visakhapatnam International Airport is approximately 39 km away, taking around 1 hour and 25 minutes to reach. The hotel is also conveniently accessible by road from major cities across India via public and private transport.
