Mumbai: JSW Cement Limited reported its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company saw a 22% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue, reaching ₹1,896 Crore. Operating EBITDA for the quarter was ₹298.6 Crore, while Profit after Tax stood at ₹153.4 Crore.The consolidated performance highlights the growth across all operational segments and the successful ramp-up of new capacity in the North region.
Q1 FY27 Financial and Operational Highlights
JSW Cement achieved a 15% YoY increase in total volume sold, which climbed to 3.81 Million Tonnes in Q1 FY27, up from 3.31 Million Tonnes in Q1 FY26. In terms of product mix, the cement volume sold accounted for 2.34 Million Tonnes, marking a 27% YoY increase from 1.85 Million Tonnes in Q1 FY26. The volume of Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) stood at 1.33 Million Tonnes, reflecting a 3% YoY rise compared to the previous period's 1.30 Million Tonnes.
The strong operational growth was attributed to sustained momentum in cement volumes across existing regions and the robust commencement of sales from the new integrated unit in the North region.
Northern Expansion Details and Operational Performance
JSW Cement commissioned its integrated unit at Nagaur district, Rajasthan—which has a 3.3 MTPA clinker capacity and 2.5 MTPA grinding capacity—on March 30, 2026. Sales from this new facility commenced in April 2026, targeting the markets of Rajasthan and Haryana. The company achieved an average utilization rate of 55% from the Nagaur unit during Q1 FY27.Consolidated revenue increased 22% YoY to ₹1,896 Crore. Operating EBITDA for the consolidated operations was ₹298.6 Crore, resulting in an operating EBITDA per ton of ₹784. While this figure applies to the full consolidated results, operational EBITDA excluding North operations rose by 4% YoY to ₹336 Crore, equating to ₹979 per ton. Total EBITDA (including other income) for Q1 FY27 was ₹372.3 Crore.
Growth Strategy and Sustainability Updates
The company continued its expansion program during the quarter. Significant progress was made on installing WHRS, OLBC, and AFR co-processing systems at the Nagaur integrated unit. Work has also commenced on an additional 2.5 MTPA grinding unit at Nagaur, which is set to raise the total grinding capacity at the site to 6.0 MTPA. Additionally, progress was made on adding another 1.0 MTPA grinding capacity at Nagaur.JSW Cement increased its renewable energy capacity by a further 56 MW in Q1 FY27, bringing its total renewable capacity (including WHRS) to 112 MW as of June 30, 2026. The company recorded a capex expenditure (including maintenance capex) of ₹337 Crore during Q1 FY27.
In terms of sustainability and recognition, JSW Cement reported the lowest carbon dioxide emission intensity in its industry at 338 kg CO2 per ton of cementitious materials. Shiva Cement received the Odisha Best Employer Brand Award and the Best Innovation Award (EHS) at the World HRD Congress, while the Vijayanagar Plant was awarded the 'GOLD AWARD' at the Green Enviro Environment Award & Summit for environmental excellence. The company also secured the Global ESG Award 2026 (Diamond) in the Circular Economy category.
JSW Cement Limited operates nine plants across India, including integrated units and grinding facilities located in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Odisha, and Rajasthan.
