India's primary market is poised for an intense week as nine companies launch Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), collectively aiming to raise a massive Rs 7,681 crore across the mainboard and SME platforms. This concentrated influx of issues presents both opportunities and challenges amid what is shaping up to be one of the most active listing periods recently.Major Mainboard Listings Dominate The Week Ahead
The IPO pipeline features several high-profile listings, with Dhoot Transmission set to lead the charge. This significant mainboard issue opens on August 10 and closes by August 12. It is designed to raise Rs 3,066.89 crore, comprising a fresh issue of Rs 1,400 crore and an Offer For Sale (OFS) amounting to Rs 1,666.89 crore.Milky Mist Dairy Food is also set to hit the market on August 11, with an offering size of Rs 1,553 crore. Priced between Rs 133-140 per share, this IPO includes a fresh issue of Rs 1,428 crore and an OFS of Rs 125 crore. The listing is currently quoting at a Grey Market Premium (GMP) of 19%.
Logistics powerhouse Shiprocket will launch on August 12 and close by August 14. Offering at a price band of Rs 92-97 per share, the company plans to raise Rs 1,617.48 crore through its IPO, which consists of a fresh issue of Rs 885.50 crore and an OFS of Rs 731.98 crore. Shiprocket’s GMP stands at 16%.
Diversification Across Sectors in Primary Market Offers
Beyond the highly anticipated listings, several key companies across varied sectors are scheduled to launch their IPOs between August 10 and August 12. Molbio Diagnostics will debut on August 10 for Rs 939.70 crore. Its price band is set at Rs 768-807 per share, with the issue comprising a fresh issue of Rs 200 crore and an OFS of Rs 739.70 crore.Behari Lal Engineering will also launch on August 12, raising Rs 301.62 crore at a price band of Rs 271-285 per share. This issue includes a fresh issue of Rs 93 crore and an OFS component totaling Rs 208.62 crore.
SME Segment Fuels IPO Activity
The market's appetite for smaller cap offerings is evident, with the SME segment remaining highly active. Pramodini Medicare plans to raise Rs 69.04 crore. Similarly, Fascinate Textiles and Q&T Foods and Sham Foam have scheduled listings in the SME space.
