Innovation Surge! MoSPI Partners with GRAAM to Empower Fellows in India Governance Reform
Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has initiated a significant step towards strengthening public sector capacity by signing a Statement of Intent (SoI) with Grassroots Research And Advocacy Movement (GRAAM). This collaborative agreement formalizes the engagement of two selected fellows under the Embark India Development Fellowship Proposal. The SoI signing ceremony brought together key leadership from both institutions. Present were Shri P. R. Meshram, Director General (Data Governance) of MoSPI, Dr. Basavaraju R. Shreshta, Executive Director of GRAAM, and Sh. Prasoon Verma, Director of the Training Unit at MoSPI's Capacity Development Division.This partnership establishes a practical platform where research-driven individuals can directly collaborate with the Ministry. The initiative is designed to convert theoretical knowledge into actionable insights, supporting both ongoing and newly launched departmental initiatives.
