Commenting on the May 2026 sales results, Mr. Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO of HMIL, noted that the momentum continued strongly. He stated that Hyundai Motor India achieved domestic sales of 47,837 units with 9.1% YoY growth and total sales of 61,137 units with 4.1% YoY growth.
Mr. Garg further highlighted the year-to-date performance, stating that in the first two months of the current financial year (April and May), HMIL witnessed domestic sales rise by 13% to 99,739 units. This was compared to 88,235 units recorded in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
