
Chambal Fertilizers Begins Production of Weak Nitric Acid at Technical Ammonium Nitrate Plant
Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited announced a key operational development regarding its new facility set up for manufacturing Technical Ammonium Nitrate. The company confirmed that production activities have begun at its existing site in Gadepan, District Kota, Rajasthan.The project involves the setup of plants for manufacturing Technical Ammonium Nitrate, alongside a plant dedicated to producing Weak Nitric Acid.
The company reported that production of the intermediary product, Weak Nitric Acid (WNA), has commenced. Following this milestone, the production of Ammonium Nitrate Solution (ANS) and prilled High Density Ammonium Nitrate (HDAN) is expected to start in due course.
