Hero MotoCorp has officially entered the German market, marking its fifth European country and 53rd country globally. The company established a distribution partnership with KSR Group to introduce its Euro 5+ compliant product portfolio, headlined by the XPulse 200 4V series.

The expansion marks a significant milestone in the company's global growth strategy. By entering Europe’s largest economy, Hero MotoCorp builds upon its existing presence in Italy, Spain, France, and the UK. The brand aims to provide German riders with precision engineering and high-performance products that offer an accessible ownership experience.

To facilitate the rollout, KSR Group will initially launch the product range through a network of more than 28 official sales and service outlets across major German cities. The group intends to rapidly expand this footprint, with a target of establishing 30 sales points in Germany. An extensive network of authorized dealers and technical service centers will provide after-sales support. Additionally, Hero MotoCorp is offering an industry-leading five-year warranty for the launch, which includes a three-year standard warranty and an additional two years as a special launch offer.

Product Portfolio and Performance​

The introductory lineup features two flagship adventure models designed for the European riding market:

The XPulse 200 4V series is powered by a 4-valve engine producing 14.1 kW and 17.35 Nm of torque. The motorcycles feature three scalable ABS modes—Road, Off-Road, and Rally—to accommodate different terrains. Additional technology includes Bluetooth-enabled turn-by-turn navigation, an LCD instrument cluster, and LED projector headlamps.

Global Presence and Strategic Growth​

Hero MotoCorp remains the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, generating approximately $5 billion in revenue. The company maintains a global footprint across 53 countries with a customer base exceeding 130 million.

The company operates eight manufacturing facilities: six in India, one in Colombia, and one in Bangladesh. It also maintains two Research and Development centers, the Hero Centre for Innovation and Technology (CIT) in India and the Hero Tech Centre Germany (TCG).

Beyond its internal growth, Hero MotoCorp is involved in electric mobility through VIDA and strategic alliances with Harley-Davidson and Zero Motorcycles. The company has also made strategic investments in EV manufacturers Ather Energy and Euler Motors.

Hero MotoCorp Limited shares edged higher to close at ₹4,890.00 today, gaining 0.28% after a steady session. The stock saw a total traded volume of 289,721 shares as it navigated an intraday range between ₹4,874.40 and ₹4,928.50.
