Subramanyam, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), as a Government Nominee Director on its Board of Directors.The appointment was formalized by the company's Board of Directors in a meeting held on July 24, 2026. Shri Javvadi V.N. Subramanyam, who holds the designation of Joint Secretary at MNRE and has been certified as DIN-07935156, took the role starting from the same date.
The appointment will remain in effect until three Functional Directors are appointed or until further orders are issued by the agency, whichever occurs earlier. Shri Javvadi V.N. Subramanyam is a senior officer in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) with over 18 years of experience across Central and State Governments. His expertise spans renewable energy, public financial management, industrial promotion, infrastructure development, health systems, and governance reforms.Prior to his current role at MNRE, he served as Director at the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, where he focused on international economic engagements and financial market policy.
His distinguished career includes senior state-level roles such as Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (APIIC); Commissioner of Industries; CEO of AP Economic Development Board; and Mission Director for the National Health Mission in Assam. He also served as Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate in Goalpara, Assam.
Shri Subramanyam holds qualifications including a Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant (All India First Rank), a Bachelor degree in Commerce, and a Master's in Public Policy (MPP).
