EIH Limited has released its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the Financial Year 2025-26. The report details the company's operations across a portfolio of properties, focusing extensively on environmental stewardship, human resource development, and commitments to sustainable hospitality practices.

The reporting conducted by EIH on a standalone basis covers information pertaining to 13 Hotels & Restaurants, 7 Business Units, and 4 Offices. These facilities include establishments such as The Oberoi Udaivilas, Trident Bandra Kurla, and The Oberoi Grand Kolkata.

Operational and Financial Overview​

For the fiscal year spanning from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, EIH reported a Paid-up Capital of Rs. 1,250.73 million.

The company has implemented a Zero Discharge mechanism across several properties and units, including The Oberoi Udaivilas, The Oberoi Vanyavilas, Wildflower Hall, and The Oberoi Bangalore. In managing water resources, total water consumption stood at 809,456 KL for the year.

Waste Management:
A significant focus was placed on waste management, adhering to a Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle model. Total waste generated across all establishments was 3,898.7 MT. The recovery efforts included:
  • Recycled material: 2,409.9 MT
  • Re-used material: 72.3 MT
  • Other recovery operations: 646.9 MT

Human Capital and Employee Wellbeing​

The report provides detailed insights into the status of employees and workers across EIH Limited's properties. The company employs a total of 5,392 employees and utilizes 3,099 workers.

Employee Welfare:
Commitments to employee wellbeing are central to the business philosophy. For FY 2025-26, the cost incurred on well-being measures amounted to 2.75% of the company's total revenue. All employees and workers have access to non-occupational medical and healthcare services.

Training and Labor:
Employee training focused on core principles (P1, P3, P5) resulted in extensive coverage across segments. For example, out of 2,071 "Other than Permanent" employees, both are 100% covered by health and safety training.
