
Delhivery Appoints Vani Venkatesh as Deputy CEO, Strengthens Executive Leadership
Delhivery Limited has announced the elevation of Vani Venkatesh to the role of Deputy CEO, effective immediately. Ms. Venkatesh will now lead Revenue functions, Marketing and Customer Experience, working closely with the company’s Operations teams following her promotion.Venkatesh previously joined Delhivery in February 2025 as Chief Business Officer and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP), where she oversaw revenue functions. The expanded role reflects her increasing responsibilities and impact at the logistics provider.
This organizational move is part of a series of leadership changes undertaken by the company this year, which included Varun Bakshi taking over as Chief Sales Officer, Vikas Kapoor as Chief Strategy Officer, Arun Bagavathi, Prashant Gazipur and Nikhil Ummat serving as Chief Operating Officers, and Sunny Raja appointed as Chief Procurement Officer.
In connection with these structural changes, Ajith Pai, who served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and KMP, has been announced to be moving on effective September 15, 2026. Mr. Pai transitioned his responsibilities in preparation for the new executive operations leadership.
Sahil Barua, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Delhivery, commented on the transitions, stating that Ajith is a founding member who made invaluable contributions to the company since its inception, both as CFO and COO. He added that Vani's elevation underscores the company’s commitment to training executive leadership internally to perform multiple roles.
