
DCW Limited Appoints Sudarshan Ganapathy as Chief Executive Officer
DCW Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Sudarshan Ganapathy as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP), effective August 13, 2026. Mr. Ganapathy was elevated from his position as Chief Operating Officer (COO).Mr. Ganapathy joins the role bringing over four decades of experience in the Indian chemical industry and possesses a deep understanding of DCW's operations and markets. Having been associated with DCW since 1990, he holds both a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai and an MMS in Marketing from Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research. Prior to his tenure at DCW, Mr. Ganapathy worked with Hoechst India Limited and Color-Chem Limited.
Since joining DCW as Regional Sales Manager in the PVC Division, he has accumulated extensive leadership experience across strategy, marketing, manufacturing, business development, and technology, contributing significantly to the company's diversification into value-added products.
As CEO, Mr. Ganapathy will oversee the Company’s finance, marketing, operations, and overall strategy, with responsibility for driving long-term growth and business performance. His appointment is intended to ensure leadership continuity as DCW focuses on strengthening its Specialty Chemicals division, enhancing operational efficiency, and building upon a stronger financial and manufacturing platform.
Mr. Bakul Jain, Chairman & Managing Director of DCW Limited, stated that Sudarshan has closely contributed to DCW’s development for more than three decades, possessing an in-depth understanding of the company's businesses, operations, customers, and markets. He noted that the appointment brings strategic, financial, and operating priorities together under one experienced leader.
Mr. Ganapathy commented on his new role, expressing gratitude to the promoters and the Board for their trust. He stated that his focus will be on disciplined execution, strengthening Specialty Chemicals, improving operating efficiency, and maintaining financial discipline as DCW enters its next phase of growth.
