The company cited persistent forex volatility, particularly the depreciation of the Indian rupee against the euro, along with rising input costs.
Audi has similarly confirmed a price hike of up to 2% for its vehicles starting April 1, attributing the increase to higher input costs and currency fluctuations.
Hyundai Motor India has already implemented price increases, while Maruti Suzuki is currently evaluating a potential revision as cost pressures continue across the industry.
Tata Motors Stock Performance
Shares of Tata Motors' commercial vehicle unit ended 2.2% higher at ₹435 on Monday.
