Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Announces Price Increase for Cars and SUVs, Effective July 1, 2026

Mumbai: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (TMPV), a leading manufacturer of cars and SUVs in India, announced that it will increase prices across its entire passenger vehicle portfolio, including both internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and electric vehicles (EVs). The price revision is scheduled to take effect from July 1, 2026, with increases amounting to up to 1.5%.

The company stated that the decision to implement a price adjustment was made to partially mitigate the effects of rising input costs and persistent inflationary pressures. While TMPV is absorbing a significant portion of these cost increases, some impact will be passed on to customers through this revision. The magnitude of the increase will differ across various models and variants, ensuring that the core value proposition of each offering remains intact.
