Tata Motors Enters into Memorandum of Understanding with UCO Bank for Commercial Vehicle Financing

Tata Motors Limited has confirmed the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UCO Bank to facilitate commercial vehicle financing. The company stated that this agreement was entered into in the ordinary course of business and does not include any binding commercial terms.

The partnership is intended to streamline financing options for customers purchasing commercial vehicles, representing a routine operational expansion for the automotive manufacturer. According to the company, the arrangement serves as a foundational framework for financing activity rather than a definitive commercial contract with immediate financial obligations.

Regarding recent market activity and share price movements, Tata Motors attributed fluctuations to broader geopolitical developments and macroeconomic factors. The company noted that global and Indian indices have experienced significant volatility recently, affecting various companies across the market. It emphasized that trading activity is market-driven and influenced by a confluence of global economic factors beyond the control of the company.

The company further clarified that the MoU with UCO Bank constitutes an operational matter that does not meet the threshold for material information under its internal Policy for Determination of Materiality of Events or Information. Consequently, the agreement did not require specific prior intimation to stock exchanges.

Additionally, the company confirmed that the news regarding the partnership is not related to any regulatory or legal proceedings.
