Mumbai, July 27, 2026: The Board of Directors of Capri Global Capital Ltd. (CGCL), a non-deposit taking and systemically important NBFC (NBFC-ND-SI), announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. CGCL reported strong growth across all lending segments as consolidated Assets Under Management (AuM) rose by 62% year on year to Rs 40,112 crores. Furthermore, Profit After Tax (PAT) achieved a record high for the quarter, increasing by 102% year on year to Rs 353 crores.The company highlighted that its asset quality remained under control and it maintains a robust liquidity position following these results. CGCL continues to expand its customer base, exceeding 7.6 lakhs customers across its network of 1,433 locations.

Profitability and Efficiency Gains Drive Growth
CGCL reported a sharp acceleration in profitability, driven by strong margin expansion, operating efficiency improvements, and consistent growth across its business segments. The company achieved a high for the quarter with PAT at Rs 353 crores, marking a 102% increase compared to Rs 175 crores in 1QFY26.The Net Interest Income surged by 78.5% year on year to reach Rs 736 crores. This growth was supported by an expanded spread of 7.8%, reflecting improvements in both the yield and cost of borrowings (9.1%).
From a profitability perspective, Return on Equity (RoAE) stood at 19.1%, significantly up from 13.0% in the corresponding quarter last year. Return on Assets (RoAA) was reported at 4.1%, up from 3.2%.
Operating efficiency also showed steady improvement. The cost-to-income ratio declined to 44.2% in 1QFY27, down from 46.5% in 1QFY26. Pre-provision operating profit surged 70.8% year on year to Rs 532 crores.
Non-Interest Income and Asset Quality Status
Non-interest income continued to diversify revenue streams for CGCL. This category grew by 28% year on year to Rs 217 crores, contributing 23% of the net total income. The company generated significant fee income from insurance distribution, which stood at Rs 42 crores, a 66% increase year on year. Furthermore, car loan distribution net income reached Rs 32 crores in 1QFY27, representing a 37% rise YoY.Regarding asset quality, the Gross NonPerforming Asset (GNPA) ratio was reported at 1.1%, and the Net NonPerforming Asset (NNPA) ratio was at 0.6%. The provision coverage ratio on stage 3 loans remained robust at 43.2%.
Capital Adequacy and Future Outlook
The company maintained a robust capital position, with its standalone capital adequacy ratio standing strong at 24.7% in 1QFY27. Consolidating the balance sheet strength, the firm reported that borrowings increased by 73% year on year to Rs 27,630 crores.Managing Director Mr. Rajesh Sharma commented that the company delivered a strong performance in 1QFY27. He noted that profitability accelerated due to improving margins and continued efficiency gains. Despite macroeconomic challenges, asset quality remained under control. CGCL is now confident of revising its guidance for AuM to Rs 650bn with a projected CAGR exceeding 30% by FY28, targeting consistent RoAE in the range of 19%-21% and RoAA between 4.2%-4.7%.
