Ms. Ekambaram’s expertise encompasses strategic oversight across multiple business verticals, including Digital Banking, Treasury, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Vigilance, CSR/ESG, and Capital Market subsidiaries during her tenure as Deputy Managing Director and Whole-time Director (2022-2025).

Her professional history also includes serving as the CEO of Kotak Mahindra Capital Company from 1997 to 2003. During this period, she led a team that helped pioneer India's equity capital markets by guiding the Hughes Software IPO in 1999, which was described as the country’s first book-building transaction.
