This transaction is part of a Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process involving VOVL Ltd.
The strategic move involves BPRL Ventures BV acquiring the full stake from VEBL, which relates to an earlier intimation regarding the NCLT order approving the acquisition. The definitive agreement marks a significant step in consolidating control over the Brazilian asset.
Prior to executing these agreements, BPRL Ventures BV held 65.40% of the shareholding in IBV Brazil Petroleo Limitada. Following the completion of the acquisition, IBV Brazil Petroleo Limitada will become a wholly owned subsidiary of BPRL Ventures BV. The transaction is subject to necessary registration by the appropriate authorities in Brazil.
IBV Brazil Petroleo Limitada holds participating interests in oil and gas concessions in Brazil, including the BM- Seal- 11 concession, which is currently progressing with development activities.
