BikeWo Partners with Hala Mobility to Scale EV Fleet Deployment, Targeting 10,000 Vehicles in Three Years

Hyderabad | August 13, 2026: BikeWo Green Tech Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hala Mobility to explore electric vehicle (EV) fleet deployment and management. The partnership proposes an initial Phase I rollout involving approximately 1,000 electric vehicles, with the companies intending to strategically scale up to around 10,000 vehicles over the next three years.

The collaboration unites BikeWo's expertise in electric mobility and fleet operations with Hala Mobility's position within the wider mobility ecosystem. The initial deployment aims to establish a foundation for a scalable EV fleet operating model, as both companies evaluate potential expansions based on commercial viability, market requirements, and operational performance.

During the first phase of the collaboration, the parties will work toward establishing the framework necessary for EV deployment, vehicle management, fleet utilization, and all related operational needs. Insights gathered from this initial rollout are expected to guide the scope and pace of subsequent expansion efforts.

The companies envision growing the deployment to approximately 10,000 electric vehicles over three years, contingent upon the outcome of Phase I and mutually agreed commercial and operational arrangements. As the partnership matures, BikeWo and Hala Mobility also plan to assess opportunities for expansion into new geographical areas, vehicle segments, and customer categories.

Beyond fleet deployment, BikeWo and Hala Mobility intend to jointly explore various facets of the EV ecosystem. This includes initiatives related to vehicle leasing, fleet management, charging infrastructure, energy solutions, technology platforms, maintenance and servicing, enterprise mobility, and logistics applications.

Commenting on this strategic move, Mr. Hiten Pal Saklani, Chief Executive Officer of BikeWo Green Tech Limited, stated that electric fleet adoption now demands not only vehicles but also robust capabilities in deployment, utilization, maintenance, technology integration, and overall fleet management. He added that the partnership with Hala Mobility is designed to build these essential capabilities through a tested operating model, starting with approximately 1,000 vehicles. The proposed roadmap towards around 10,000 vehicles over three years underscores the potential seen in this alliance.

The MoU forms part of BikeWo's strategy to construct an integrated mobility and logistics platform. The company is developing capabilities across EV deployment, fleet operations, vehicle leasing and servicing, energy infrastructure, logistics, and technology-enabled mobility solutions. BikeWo is actively pursuing strategic partnerships and acquisitions to deepen its presence throughout the mobility value chain.

Hala Mobility Private Limited, based in Hyderabad, functions as an EV-as-a-Service platform dedicated to electric mobility solutions for gig-economy riders, fleet operators, and last-mile delivery. The company currently provides electric vehicles through rental and leasing models and operates across nine cities.
