
BCL Industries boosts distillery capacity to 550 KLPD following ethanol expansion commissioning in Bathinda
BCL Industries Limited has completed a major brownfield expansion at its facility in Bathinda (Punjab), significantly increasing the capacity of its grain-based distilleries. The company announced the completion of another 150 KLPD dedicated Ethanol plant, which brings the total distillery capacity at the Bathinda unit to 550 KLPD.The commissioning of this expanded ethanol unit underscores BCL Industries' commitment to scaling up its operations in Punjab.
Commenting on the expansion, Managing Director Mr. Rajinder Mittal stated that the company is extremely delighted with the milestone. He noted that this brownfield expansion further reinforces BCL’s position as one of the largest grain-based distilleries operating in India. Furthermore, he highlighted the organization's commitment to promoting government initiatives concerning Bio-Fuels across the country.
