Bajaj Electricals Appoints Ms. Ashween Anand as CFO Designate​

Bajaj Electricals Limited has announced the appointment of Ms. Ashween Anand as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Designate and Senior Management Personnel of the company. Ms. Anand's tenure commenced with effect from May 14, 2026. She is scheduled to be formally appointed as CFO during the ensuing Board Meeting.

Ms. Anand is described as an accomplished finance leader with over 16 years of diverse experience across finance, strategy, and governance. Her extensive career includes working with several leading global organizations, including EY, Deloitte, Mondelēz, Colgate-Palmolive, and Tata Starbucks (a joint venture between Tata Consumer Products and Starbucks).

In her current role at Tata Starbucks, Ms. Anand oversees several critical functions. Her responsibilities include driving profitable growth and financial strategy across a large and complex business. She also leads financial planning, treasury, taxation, internal audit, and finance transformation initiatives. Furthermore, she partners with the Board and leadership to build scalable, future-ready capabilities, while also spearheading automation, analytics, and technology-led transformation efforts.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Anand held significant finance leadership positions at Mondelez International (formerly Cadbury India) and Colgate-Palmolive. During her time with these organizations, she managed India and key export markets, including Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. She also accumulated regional experience at the Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore. Her background is further strengthened by strong transaction advisory and assurance experience gained at Deloitte and Ernst & Young.

Academically, Ms. Anand is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Master's degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai. She has also cleared all levels of the CFA program from the CFA Institute (USA) and graduated in Speech & Drama and Effective Communication from Trinity College London. The industry has recognized her expertise, awarding her accolades such as Economic Times CFO of the Year 2024 and ET Edge Impactful CFO of the Year 2024.
